Thanks. Then again, it would not have taken much to improve on the old one! LOL

BTW, the bare patch has been growing over the years. It was smaller when I first got it. I think battery acid was spilled on it.

well unfortunately I got to test the rear cable and Jack system. Works flawlessly. just in time to notice the front and race home. ironically I was in Harbor Freight parking lot buying a corded impact driver. they were unwilling to let me borrow or even buy and use an extension cord because of trip hazard.
I hate lawyers LOL. now I know the real reason four door owners want a rear carrier... so we can carry two spares.

That reminds me. One of my goals for the summer was to mount my rear spare tire carrier. But with everything going on, that can might get kicked down the road and instead I should at least test my spare tire carrier that is under the rear of the truck.

yeah well brilliant owner kid before me changed tire sizes without changing spare. my 235 70 15 spare will not ride around with my other 235 75s. one bad tire means buy 5? Ridiculous. ahh the Gremlins we learn as we go grrrr.

Yeah definitely don't want mismatched tire sizes on an AWD Bravada!

oh hey thats a good point, right now my rig is running 30" on the rears and 28.9/stock on the front, its a 4WD 4DR, would that cause any weirdness with the front axle engaged?

It should be ok in low traction situations (mud, snow, sand, etc.), but I wouldn't use 4WD on dry pavement or surfaces with good traction.

Well, I think that goes without saying. 😁

Man, tough crowd. Not a single, 'Looks good' or 'Nice job'. I'm crushed.

On another note; I was headed to Toronto lake and the top radiator hose blew about half way there. I went to Eldorado (closest parts stores) only to be told, "That's a special order." Had to drive clear back home to pull a hose off of the wrecked Blazer. Got it changed just after dark thirty. Ended up getting a flat out at the lake and had to throw on the spare. Towed a trailer back home with it that had probably three quarters of a ton to a ton of rock in it.
