Obliged. Yeah the 4x4 floor shifter is a rare thing I've noticed. It has never failed me so far. I don't do anything crazy off-road but he can climb and descend hills all day long.

And converting it shouldn't be too difficult, and is worth it if you want reliability. Heard those dash button 4x4's aren't very good.

Obliged! One of those ideas I had for years and figured it was time I get these projects done. Haha. Figured I'd share so others can do the same or improve on it. I hated that coin holder. An eye-sore finally gone! My blood pressure went done slightly.

Got the wiring done to the "blackout" panel. One might say I got it all...buttoned up. I apologize for that. Haha.

Here is what my blazer did for me today: 28.5 mpg. Mostly city. Regular gas, synthetic oil, knobby tires one size over stock and running a few pounds low, AC on half the time. I may have a little water leak too, maybe that's helping??!

Edit: Additional data has suggested I missed a fill up. 14 mpg is more correct :-(

as im not sure of the specifics of extreme editions nor have i visually seen your rig in any capacity im guessing its a 2 door anyways, because the 5.2 - yes, the decimal counts. im getting in my 99 TB is obscene. ordered injectors recently as its running way too rich and while it already has an MPFI spider in it i have confirmed the injector hoses are leaking and that spider has been in this truck longer then its been in my family, and i grew up in the back seat of it.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting sub-10MPG in mine but, since gas is getting close to $5.00 a gallon here and I don't like to be depressed, I deliberately don't keep track of it.

I get 10 mpg or less around town. (2001 ZR2) Going on a road trip hoping for more, at least on the hiway...

Default Replaced Mult-Function Switch

My turn signals would quit working intermittently and work again. I replaced the flasher with no change. Fuse was good. I had previously replaced the switch about year ago from Advanced Auto parts. Advance has a lifetime warranty. I found an Advance Auto near me that had the switch on the shelf. Advance had no problem with warranting the switch. This is a $180.00 item. The switch is a bit of a pain to remove and install. I changed out the switch. All functions work as they should. Time will tell if the switch replacement corrected my problem.
