Replaced blown 4x6 dash speakers with 1 inch tweeters. What a difference! I can now turn the bass all the way up and crank the volume without distortion!
Now to beef up the low end response....

Blazen red, nice find! I would love to LS swap mine, but when the time comes I'll probably go with the tried and true vortec 5.7.

I've got the 6" lift as well. Do you plan on bigger tires eventually?

I do plan on going bigger on the tires. Seems the 31" tires are a little small for my liking. Did you use any wheel spacers to widen your stance? Did the 33" fit with no extra trimming and no rubbing?

Bought upper and lower ball joints for the front end ($40). All I have to do is find someone to put them in for a decent price. The dealer wants $1500.

You should find a new dealer... Any small shop should be able to change them. They aren't too hard to change even if you only have had tools

What about someone who would put them in for the low, low price of free!? You!

Ball joints are easy, man. Basic hand tools, and a decent place to work is all you need. If you were just slightly closer to Texas, you could bring it to my house, and we could knock it out on a Saturday

Also, to the dealer that wants $1500 to change four ball joints, you need to run far aways from them, and never go back!
