Replaced heater core and am stripping out the interior. Was going to pull out carpet and wash it seeing that it's saturated in coolant and just dirty in general.

Exclamation Carpet back in...

Old but cleaned carpet is in over new padding. I have an interior rug I just put over the f*cked up area in the back so it doesn't look so ugly.

And my OCD *** even painted the center console support. It was just bare steel with surface rust so...I figured why TF not?

Well I didn't do as much as BlazerDog97S10 but after this:

I decided it was time to fix the "ball shaker", my sons name for my Blazer at 70mph, and put in new u-joints. Took about 2 hours as even with the nylon melted out those buggers didn't want to come out. Oh plus the 3 trips to the auto store because of wrong clips and wrong joint in right box. Now nice an smooth on the interstate.
Then I noticed the overflow bottle was a little low, further investigation lead to a very spongy bypass hose an wet manifold. "This is a good time to do a super flush" I thought. 3 hours later, a broken thermostat bolt, ratchet on roof, drilling, re-tap, and another trip to the auto parts store along with a stop at Home Depot and its time for a drink while my son climbs on the roof to retrieve the ratchet that flew up there when the bolt snapped.

Default Replaced my starter on my 89 S15 Jimmy

I have my engine installed and all items are connected needed to start the car after more than a year. The starter spun but did not engage the flywheel. I purchased a NAPPA Premium Gear Reduction Starter (PMGR). The gear reduction starter is smaller in diameter and lighter and spins faster and has more torque.. It was very easy to install. The engine cranks just fine but I do not have spark at the moment. I checked the coil and it appears to be the problem. I ordered a MSD coil from O'reilly's and it should be ready for pick up in the morning.
