General ChatChat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.
I started rebuilding my center console armrest. As far as I could tell, it was made entirely of duct tape.
...
While I had it apart I stuck some magnets in the end to trip a reed switch if/when I get around to putting lights in the console.

GrantFBeach, great looking Blazer. Looking forward to seeing the roof basket, tire carrier and other mods. Do you have any up close pictures of the hood mounted lights? It's hard to tell in the pics above how they are mounted.
Wondering if the one on the left is genuine ACDelco
What year is your truck? The left one looks genuine; looks like the ones I've dealt with.
That old boy on the right is an old style o2: late 80's to early 90's style. If you have like a 95 they may have still run that type. I don't know if there is a functional difference...
My truck is a 2001 ZR2. The one on the right is the one I got about 4 years ago for the truck. I am chasing a misfire and have for a couple of years. Get an occasional heater circuit code.
Hmmm sent one down the road and bought a better one. 2000 Blazer to 2001 Jimmy. Already replaced the brake booster and fiberglassed the dash bezel. Put bluetooth stereo in. And cleaned. Need to diagnose random abs light issues. Oh, yeah, remove the roof racks.
New tires. Ouch. I actually thought about regular car tires but just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Cheap M&S, probably wear out before winter, but the old ones were way too smooth.
Also epoxied the triangular plastic visor mount thing back together. It was broken, which I suspect isn’t unusual, and sagged horribly. Hopefully 24 hours was long enough for the stuff to cure (I screwed up and did not get the quick set type)
Found a rock in a rear rotor that I think was causing a rubbing sound that was annoying me. I also did a temporary fix to my muffler until I get replacement parts and can install them.
Replaced the hose between the vacuum isolation valve and the vacuum canister. Pretty sure this was the cause of my problem with my HVAC system acting wonky by diverting the outlet air to my instrument panel vents when the engine was under load.
