Air filter. Yuck, I waited too long.
Genuine AC Delco this time, and I have no clue if that makes a difference

New on the left, old on the right. Just in case you can’t see the difference

Just finished putting in new motor mounts in the Blazer. Thought the flywheel got hot spots so I pulled the trans... I had called around to local shops and nobody would do a flywheel job for less than $100. So I picked up a stage 1 kit for a good deal just in case. Why? I could get a whole clutch kit, short hydraulics, for $220. But nope all was good but I put new kit in anyway and while in there I put new rear seal and new oil cooler seals. Front cover has a leak but Ill just deal with it. My son is now the current driver as I picked up a 2005 Dodge Ram for $4000 only 108,000 miles. Just got done rebuilding an un****ing the suspension as somebody dropped the front 6" and the rear 8". Body is in great shape an runs great just need new tires now. I gotta say that stage one feels like butter.

Today I finally replaced my disintegrated rear bump stops. I couldn't find any for an 02 Blazer and while these are actually for a 99-07 Chevy GMC 1500 pickup and are a little smaller they fit just fine. I reused the old cup and was able to tighten them by hand and put included nut on it to ensure tightness.

Nice solution.

When you say they are smaller than the originals. In what dimension? Diameter? Height?

I'm not really sure, there wasn't much left of the old ones. Though I know the diameter was about the same as the retainer cup. I had seen a pic of an original next to a shorty can of wd-40 and it was about the same height. I had hoped when I bought these that they would be similar. I was disappointed to find they were smaller but surprised that the bolts were the same size and thread. my best guess is that they are maybe 3/4" shorter than original.

Would you believe my Jimmy is running on original spark plugs? The vehicle has 270,000 km (165,000) miles. I pulled the plugs and to me they look original. AC 41-932.

Replaced the muffler and the tailpipe with a Walker kit, not the dynomax one. Before I installed it I did paint them with high-temp primer and paint to try to prevent/slow-down any new corrosion. The installation was easy, but cutting off the old bolts at the front end of the muffler was hard. I had to use an angle grinder.

Repaired driver's side door handle/armrest by rebuilding where the bolts attached using ABS plastic and acetone.

Re-repaired a broken wire in the drivers side door jam bundle that broke for the electronic door lock. I had repaired this one before but somehow it broke. This time I used a longer wire to jump it to reduce strain.

Replaced the relays for the fuel pump, AC, and lift-gate. I opened up the old relays for all three and whereas the ones for the AC and lift gate had only mildly worn contacts, the one for the fuel pump was very worn. After 20+ years, I think it is a good idea to replace at least the one for fuel pump. I suspect it was the source of my crank but not run intermittent condition.

The little things all add up. Good idea on the relays. I'll try to replace my fuel pump relay and maybe that'll fix his random starting issue.
