Putting the new distributor in later. Hopefully everything lines up. If it doesn't then oh well, I'll just take the timing cover off and do it again.

Got an oil and filter change done. In the process I found a brake hose that was physically worn. This is why I like doing my own work.; I don't think it would have been found otherwise.

Always a good feeling. I'll do my own work until I can't. I'll be dead when that day comes, hopefully.

Got everything put back together, but now he cranks but won't start. No codes showing up. I'll have to check every single connector again. Sun went down and it got too cold, so I was done for today.

Finished installing a left side motor mount. What a chore. I had to unbolt the transmission mount so I could pivot the engine just a bit more while also lifting the engine with a jack in order to get enough room to finally get the mounting bolts into the engine block.

i had to lift the engine to where the bottom of the exhaust manifold was about equal to the upper shock stud.

I also had to buy a set of ratcheting box-end combination wrenches with fkex heads to be able to get to the lower bolt on the engine mount and the two transmission to transmission mount bolts. I got the GearWrench 90 tooth ones. The 15mm was indispensable!

I take pride in being able to do things myself, but I think I'd pay a shop if it needed to be done again!

i also drained the rear diff only to discover I had the wrong gasket!

I wish there was a diff cover with a drain I could install that didn't cost over $125!

Rear diff oil changed despite the normal fluid pump I use deciding to break. Had to McGyver a solution using the old one.

Sprayed uncoat on the diff cover after it was back on and cleaned to stop the rust.

Checked front diff oil lever. The new ratcheting, flex head wrench worked great for that.

Found wires to the front diff out of their wire loom tubing and fixed that.

Contemplated the difficulty of replacing the rear springs and if I should do it in the spring instead of now.

I still have to install the 1-ton Idler arm.
