Put the exhaust manis on and note to self u need a spreader to reinstall them. Put the lower intake on re done fuel spider and new fasteners all around. Put new bolts in the accessory brackets and put them on and tqed them down. All I got is the efan and dist and upper intake for the big stuff. Plugs and fuel filter and she should be ready to see the road again after 10 month break. Pics when I get on the computer and not my crackberry

Touched up all the stone chips on my bodywork and then applied some new chrome coloured bowtie decals to to front guards and rear hatch glass (will post pics tomorrow) then polised the truck. Also fitted some alloy race pedals

full tune-up, wow that #3 plug takes up as much time as the whole rest of the job!, greased front end, topped off front diff, drained and refilled rear diff. ready to bring home my box trailer i took to the next county 3 days ago with my ranger. going to see if the blazer will do better than 10 mpg while towing.

My wife drove my truck the other day (seldom does - prefers her Smart ForFour) and complained brakes were bad. The brakes have been feeling a bit spongy & the pedal goes almost to the floor (she says) so last Saturday I took the truck to VTNZ (official testing station) to test them. They passed with flying colours. They did say most Jap imports probably never saw a service after initial warranty was over & it may be a good idea to change the brake fluid, so I booked my truck in for this Saturday to have the brake fluid drained, flushed & refilled.

drove it for the first time in 3 days. been sick with strep throat.
going to the shop this week to get the broken driver side window motor fixed, drain the trans fluid, oil change, and a few other little things... i've been slacking on the upkeep.

I just had to replace my driver lower ball joint. The last one that was put iin, the person didn't grease it so it blew out big time. Replaced all 5 lugs and studs since 4 of them busted off, due to the ball joint blowing out.
I have learned that replacing the ball joint is not very simple. I had to pull the hub off and pull out the cv joint just to get the new one in, I wasn't about to screw with the old one since it was busted anyway so I just cut that sumbeach out lol
had to replace the cv joint clamp in the back of the cv joint since there wasn't one on there previously, that was a huge pain in the ***!! had to remove the tie rods for that! All in all it took me 2 days to finish everything due to a storm that seemed to come out of no where and didn't end until 2 am!!! Stupid weather. a quick job turned into a prolonged job and had me stressing the entire time. I missed my blazer while it was down
Next step is replacing all the bushings on the Control Arms and tie rods (noticed while I was under there that whoever had the truck before me, used freaking shock mount bushings on the tie rods and those are holding out for now, but I need to get them replaced asap. Also gotta throw some new body bushings on it, they are all worn out. Probably going to go the cheap and quick route and just shred up a old tire for that. LOL

PJ, Thats sick!
As for me, big day cuz I got the week off some im gonna drain my bank and fix up Timmy.
Today I did the fuel filter (what a difference), Gator-Back, and WD-40 (2 cans but the squeaking is lessened) lol
Don't know what tomorrow. I bought an exhaust tip but that will take all of 1 min to do. Maybe see how much work a trans filter and fluid change is. Search here I come!
