well a month ago walking through the store with my girlfriend i noticed these led strips, little flexible strips with leds on then that just have an adhesive backing to them.
So my girlfriend picked them up for me for my birthday, (even though ive been going through a switching lights to led phase and it pisses her off as she hates sitting there watching me do it)....so she got me some blue ones so figured i would throw them under the dash and this is the result

so i just hard wired them into a hot in run at all times.....actually 2 years ago i put in another 12v dual power outlet in that i could wire into a hot in run only for my heated seat covers, rather than hot at all times like the stock one. i did this after i left the seats on and drained the battery a few times..i have no idea what wire i tapped into all i know is that it was hot in run only and with 2 heated seats and now 2 led strips wired to it i havent popped a fuse....i just wired the led strips into the wiring for the power outlet i put in........now to see if this annoys me to the point where i put a switch in or not........and having the seats into a hot in run is awsome..especially when they turn on with the command start

I like that effect. I had something similar, when I was dating a girl, who's dad worked for StreetGlow.

Got all my interiors LED blues now... only issue is I can't see if it's a $5 or $20 in the blue light lol. So i'll be changing the overheads to a white LED.

I did that!

The white LED is super bright, so I can see everything better than before, plus the blue foot lights give a nice touch!
