Changed the oil in both Blazers and added a set of wheel spacers to the rear of the second.

Parked it. Borrowing/test driving a 2007 Silverado Classic with the 4.8l. She wants $22,000 but will take $15,000 and random payments until I get a loan cleared up.

Exchanged my 1 year old Climate Guard battery for an Interstate one.

I hooked the Climate Guard up to the battery tester. Showed it was at about 5% health, and putting out 600CA out of the 1000CA it was supposed to do. Totally fried.

dude that's a ****load of ballasts.... i'm pretty sure you might need to change the type or source of them dude - somethings gotta keep burning them out!

I got a pair in the cavalier i'd be willing to part with that i can guarantee have worked for over a year - near 2 now for that matter & flawlessly till this damned relay in it - its the problem tho cuz if i can get it to work the lights pop on and don't even so much as flicker.

the bulbs are however having problems and the wrong colour choice for my likings so i'm thinking i'll get a new set and for a decent price i'll give u the ballasts from the cav?

Nothing except had to put her in the shop for a frozen thermastat(working 12 hrs a day 7 days a wk I am NOT spending my relax time working on it) and came out with a $1200 bill. :/

Bleeding lifters
Motor mounts shot
Thermastat
Hub bearing
Fuel pump

But just getting the thermastat done along with lifters for a tally of $800. I have a DD so they truck will sit there while I put on the hub, etc.

weekend of driving 270 miles, put $58 into the tank which got me 17mpg.

Also, relocated my radio ground and ran direct power from the battery. eliminated the ground loop i was getting so, NO MORE ALTERNATOR WHINE!!!!! yay me. it was the most annoying thing to be getting up to highway speed with low volume and hearing the alternator screeching through my speakers
