I don't get why people say 10,000k arent brighter then the 6,000k. My friend HAD 10,000k in his f150 and they shined WAYYY further and brighter than my 6,000k. He had to take them out because he was literally almost making people wreck (which i dont agree with at all).

The higher color temps move into the blue color range. Blue light reflects better than true white light which is why you perceive the output to be greater, but when light output is measured in lumens, a lower color temperature bulb will win out. THIS PAGE has the best explanation & illustrations I was able to find in a quick search. I'm sure there is more/better information on HiDplanet.

last night i took one of the 31 mud terrains that was on my k5 and mounted it on my spare tire. looks pretty cool on the back of my car. but now its flat. gotta clean up the bead a bit. and i made a few trips to the hardware store looking for some adapters for the fuel cell i got last week. i just keep screwing up and getting the wrong sizes.

my brain sometimes....

well finally got the fuel cell all mounted in the corner of the "trunk" area in the k5. all thats left is grounding the tank, running the vent, plugging the other fuel hose, and bolting it down. oh and filling it with gas... hehe.

then onto the carb work. the real bitch....
