installed "New" rear leafs that I pulled from the salvage yard, had to take them apart and use only certain leafs, I just chose the best of the bunch with the most bend and the top leafs since mine was busted. All went in without much trouble except for the bolt by the fuel tank, had to cut it twice to get the entire thing out. (ball joint press is your friend, worked perfect for all the bolts.. 150k of salt and rust still is no competition to the press). Silliconed the roof rack and third brake light... still trying to find out where my water leak is.. thinking possibly pass rear door seal now.. what a pain......

what kind of headers did you get?

 

just the summit racing brand. Summit Racing SUM-G9006 - Summit Racing® Headers - Overview - SummitRacing.com they are cheap and they will fit. thats all i cared about.

 

drove the blazer today with no cluster weeeeeeeeee no more v8 that likes to nom nom on gas unless i use it tomorrow =(

i didnt take it far tho i did get the 2nd payment of a job im doing on a bobcat

my clusters going to be sent in monday for rebuild =)

 

found some edelbrock parts for my k5 today. got a carb, intake mani, and valve covers. all worth a total of 460. got it for 130. think it was a steal. cant wait to slap the new stuff on and hear her roar!!!
