Replaced the leaky radiator finally! Also threw on a CAI.

But the best thing I did was i FINALLY found the rattling noise inside the drivers side door. Seems the spot welds gave out just below the top of the outside panel. There is a spot where two pieces of sheet metal meet, and the tabs at the top of the inner panel were rattling against the outer. It was pretty annoying!

Anyone have a good idea for a permanent fix? In a pinch all I could find was some silicone tub sealant (hey...it was either that or bubblegum!) I'm thinking a bit of JB weld on each tab will do the trick.

Well I got it bought and got it home 5 hours there and 5 hours back so now my list of things to do starts to many to list and will look for the DIY fixes on here. I have looked for a few using the search bar but not much luck still learning the site. Its a NE truck and has a few minor issues but it wasn't that expensive so I have room to fix a few things.

Welded up a little bracket for the K&N intake

I also welded up a couple of tiny brackets and attached a piece of plastic sheeting. Hopefully it will keep most of the warm air from the radiator away from the filter. Heres a few pics I took today. I need to start a build thread soon. A lot has been done already.

And a day time pic of the tail lights I did last week.

new wheel bearings in the front on rotor and ball joints on passenger side. water pump, fan clutch, tensioner pulley and belt. At 170,000 miles about time for some of the original parts to fail (go figure all at once) but then soon noticed the small leak from the radiator so i guess time to do that with the spark plugs and wires I have to do soon.
