today I scheduled an appointment wednesday with tire rama for new tires, shocks, and a 4x4 diagnosis (if they can give me one) and I bought a new 4x4 setting. like the plastic peice with buttons as my blazer was missing it when I got it. plus got a **** to work the setting for heater, ac, defrost.. but the vents dont work.. sad panda lol

Can't drive my Blazer yet for awhile again. Court didn't go well as I thought it would. Have to go back on January 31st.

Do! Do! Do! Da!

The tires and wheels are FINALLY! on!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the 15x7 camaro wheels(I will paint them later, but they look good silver right now) and 31 dakota at2's. Sweet looking combo and the wheels stick out a good bit, which is what I like lol. Before going back to the tire shop, I went to a shop to get the fender trimmed because my hacksaw wasn't doing anything. They charged me $30 to cut a little bit from both fenders. I get the tires to my apartment and the blazer is looking good. These two pretty hot chicks were staring at me and the blaze laughing and smiling. I'd say that's a pretty good sign. I might need to take a bit more off the fenders as it very very lightly rubs the very bottom of the back of the front fender. Any ideas on that? I don't have a sawzall and my hacksaw won't cut it. Pics will be up later tonight. I'll need a new sig soon!

Well, not all done today but in the last week or so. Changed out the fuel pump (2nd time with a Delphi pump that only last a couple of years. This time threw in an AC Delco.) Fired right up...

until the next day. Diagnosed it as a faulty cap and rotor.

Went to pull the cap off and cussed up a storm as BOTH screws were stripped out! My phillips screw driver wouldn't bite at all! Broke out the drill to try and drill out the front screw and was burning up bits.

I couldn't figure out how the screw heads were stripped out so easy yet a drill bit would barely have an effect on them. Then the light bulb went off above my head!

They were torx bits. Problem was I drilled out enough on that front screw that the torx bit wouldn't work. I did end up getting it out using a variety of tools but not fun. Brought the cap and rotor back to Autozone for a free replacement under warranty and installed a brand new distributor in place of the whole mess.

Go luck I guess and hit the right gear tooth as everything is working just fine!

Okay, pics... They are kind of... dark lol. But here is some pics of my schmexy beast! I need to take better ones though tomorrow.

Also, just picked one of these up before harbor freight closed. Can anyone guess what I'm going to do tomorrow with it? And no, I'm not gonna cut up food with it.
