Default When do you stop working on it??

Being new to the forum and these trucks I'm learning a lot. I got an 1989 GMC Jimmy S-15 4x4 for what I thought was a smoke-in deal of 800 bucks. WRONG !! I have done all the standard stuff, tune up, oil change, heater core, head light, the list goes on for the little stuff. I have found that you can't keep fluids in the truck. Oil, ATF, coolant, it all wont's out. I've replaced valve cover gaskets, oil sender, rear main seal, and intake gaskets on standby. The trans was leaking out of the front pump seal. Went to replace, and found that the torque converter bushing, torque converter, and flex plate were messed up. In it this far, rebuilt the trans. Tomorrow I'm changing out the motor mounts and the oil pan. I have found that motor mounts are important to keep the oil pan off the front dif. I have had this little Blazer for 1 month, my question is when does it stop, when can you just drive the thing ?....lol
