I replaced the pitted drivers side outside door handle with a New NOS OEM that I purchased on ebay. Everything went well until I re-assembled everything and the door handle would not open the door. The lock rod came loose and I had to take everything apart again and get the lock rod properly installed in the door handle and the actual door lock. This is a real PIA to do. But I got it done and re-assembled everything and all is well. Now I have a shiny new outside door handle on both doors. I did the passenger side yesterday.

I noticed while my window was rolled down today that I have a nice "clinking" noise coming from the front end that speeds up or slows down with the vehicles speed and starts when I'm turning.

So I'm thinking I'll need some new CV's pretty soon.

Oil change, and ordered even more stuff.

20ft. of KnuKonceptz KCA Black 1/0

25ft. of KnuKonceptz Kandy Kable Orange 0 Gauge

Big 3 and power/ground for the stereo will be done once that stuff arrives.

Cooling system was leaking ever so slowly. I feared the worst (Blown head-gasket) Pressured the system and found a pin hole leak in the return heater hose just before it clamps on the water pump. Due to the fact that my Blazer has lots of miles I decided to go ahead and replace both hoses and antifreeze. Went to Danger Zone and sprung for the molded hoses and a gallon of "high mileage vehicle" antifreeze. Now all is well.
