yup, if i need to take the truck to the tire shop. the second i leave there and get home, i take them off, and tighten them down to a reasonable torque.
And apparently that is too much, I am the hulk!

I love the ones that think its nascar and they ram the lugs on like they are on a pit stop time limit, jamming a damn nut in cross threaded. Then the lucky bone head (me) having to take the damn thing off put any kinda force on the lug with a 4-way snapping the stud off, punching yourself in the face, and landing on your forehead. Or get the 4-way on and the weight of the 4 way snaps the stud leaving you wondering how the hell it was holding the tire on.

This has happened to me lol all but the punching myself in the face and landing on my forehead...
When I did the back breaks on my jimmy I started working on removing the tire snapped off a lug and found a bent stud. I guess it was a good thing I was 'breaking' things down to replace the e-break shoes, rotors, and calipers (all wheel disk break)

Today I'm pulling the computer fan in my blazer that I used to cool my led map lights for a cooling rig for my laptop. I have already started on the rig. The main idea being to use the larger (desktop) fan to pull extra air through the radiator of the laptop by sealing the rad section off and drawing the air through a tunnel to the fan. We'll see how well it works when it's all said and done.

I use a gun all the time for wheel installation, just not King Kong tightness. Zip em up and out with the torque wrench, without the weight of whatever the vechile is on it so you get a good true click from it
