Drilled the holes for installing the tire carrier, and within an hour it started raining. No going back now.

I just had to go back for more... I was amazed at how well the Pro Comp All Terrains performed. I originally wanted true mud tires but ended up going with these cuz they were on sale, buy 3 get 1 free, and they seemed more practical given this is my daily driver. Lemme tell ya I went for a long ride through rain soaked pastures and only put it in 4WD one time. These tires ROCK!!!

fender flaps worked great but...

CRUNCH!!! license plate bracket and driving lights took a hit... cheap @#$ aluminum brush guard wuz tweaked as well. Good learning lesson and glad it happened now before I install my XRC-8!!!

Found this on CL, Going to check it out in the morning. Pretty darn sure I can fabricate brackets to make it work for the Jimmy and finally get my winch installed. Imma make certain its mounted securely and add a beefy skid plate as well.

What did the total cost run ya? I'm thinking about doing this to my second gen. I know Thog started this or was thinking about it before he had to sell his blaze. Voltage levels? And how long did it take you time wise?

Default A more modern look

Today I changed the amber turn signals on my wifes '99 Blazer into some more modern looking clear ones.
I also found a new headlight washer unit for the left side. (The original one was missing one spray ball)

After:

I'm still looking for other rims or 1.5" spacers and a 2"lift kit

Picked up a hydroboost setup from an astro van today for $15 for the PNP! It was dirty and nasty of course so I cleaned it up and threw a nice coat of paint on it. Looks almost new again! It is now in the pile of things I have to add to my truck if I ever get it back from the wife.

i might be wrong but it uses the power steering fluid for the power brakes. my buds astro van has it. and his brakes are hard as a rock, and ive bled the snot out of it. he's gonna be replacing his sooner or later.

so from what the mounting points look like, it looks like the vacuum assist is removed and this goes in its place with the master cylinder on the other side??
