I also noticed i lost my wheel weights on my driverside rear tire. looks to be a decent size. maybe a ounce. Im sure thats contributing.

So a balance, and a rear end to come. $0 in my pocket. Great.
Crap - sorry to hear that. Sounds like the shaft is indeed bent. Wheels out of balance is probably making it feel 5x worse too. Previous owner might have high-centered it wheeling off road ....

i dont *think* its bent. Just totally out of balance. while i had the rear up i watched my tire wobble. i stopped it at 60 mph (one wheel peel ftw in this case) and wiggled it at 9 and 3,and 12 and 6,no play. so axle bearing on that sides ok. I wonder how bad 1 ounce off is...the outline of the weight missing is about 3 inches long...thats gotta be what at least a ounce..

After putting a few hundred miles on it over the weekend I think the coil was starting to break down. Once it would get up to operating temp it would start stumbling like it was losing spark. Got home, went in the one home stored parts tote (not to be confused with the work stored parts 'area'), dug 1 out and changed it over. So far so good
