Never hurts to balance any driveshaft - even factory stock. Makes your driveline components last forever. Case in point: I did new U-joints and balanced the driveshaft in our Grand Marquis back in '04 - been smooth as glass ever since, and these U-joints have already traveled the same distance the stock ones did when they failed. Zero play in either one. 105k miles and counting. Plus, if you do alot of highway driving, you'll enjoy the smoothness.

Looks like the warm weather is finally arriving today. 'Bout time!!

256k miles and Little Easy is still purring. But after two years I have to redo the passenger upper a frame bushings and I think the oil pump is going. Either that or its clogged. Is it easy to drop the pan in the 4x4?

I feel like I read somewhere that its almost impossible to drop the oil pan with the motor still in the vehicle on the 4x4s. I may be wrong and have not tried it but I think I remember that from somewhere.

I got all three feet burned in and cleaned up on my first rock slider. A couple pics in m build thread.

I finally got my light rack off, it looks weird without it. But I should have my bigger ipf lights on by the weekend.

Pulled off the front bumper and grille. Grille is in the trash, front bumper is able to be reused, luckily.

Noticed that my passenger front tire is getting into my fender now. Hoping I don't have any frame or alignment issues.
