It is when the engine's out.

Couldn't do it with my setup - I've got a 2nd gen Vortec with the aluminum pan in a 1st gen Blazer. My only option was to yank the engine a second time. While it was out, I did head gaskets, timing cover gaskets & crank seal, new timing set, valve seals, oil pump, and rear main.

Not so much just for the Blazer but for what I like to do with my Blazer and my wifes Envoy XL. I joined the Long Island Beach Buggy Association.

Got nothing done to the Jimmy. I wish I could take a angle grinder to the yard to cut out some floor boards... "if it doesnt unbolt, you cant take it" Hate that rule.

Just fitted 2 new Timken front hub/bearing assemblies this morning as one of them was very noisy.
Went for short drive & what a difference! Not only has the noise gone but a slight vibration i've had for a long time has also gone, I always put that down to maybe a bit of wear in the main axleshaft - or maybe front CV axles but it obviously must have been the hubs. Feels a completely different vehicle to drive now!

Shackles are a nightmare but a cut off saw helps.

Installed used the 1 inch of lift hole
Blacked out some rust, I will fix soon

3 inches in the back, 2 in the front. Body lift this summer
