I had my most productive day, Blazer-wise, in several months. I helped my friend get his (formerly my) '94 Blazer going again. The pickup coil on the distributor had gone bad. We swapped distributors, set the timing, and it was ready to go. It's running better now than when I owned it!
After that we replaced the rear pads and calipers on my '98 Jimmy and bled the brakes. It was my first time using a vacuum bleeder. I convinced him to leave his vacuum bleeder in my shop...you know, for storage purposes.
I also put a new wheel stud on the right rear wheel because the threads were all mashed up on one of them.
All that and I grilled up a nice juicy steak for dinner.

Well last night as posted was working on the brakes. Its been sitting because they were really bad. Rear passenger side went find then about 12:30 AM started in on the rear drivers side. well suffice to say got the caliper off and well I'll post pics of what I found under there. Could not get the caliper to sink back in so attempted to turn the bleeder and snapped it in half. got home about 2 and am now awake @ 8AM heading back out to get another caliper and hopefully finish it.
Edit: This is the drivers side brake. It was grinding since I brought it home so its been sitting until last night/today...

Well, yesterday, I went to the pull and pay and picked up a core support off a 2000 S10, as well as some electric fans from a 98 Sebring.

Didn't do anything with those today, except to wash the core support so I could store it somewhere other than in my vehicle. But what I did do...
My Big Three upgrade..

And I installed my tail lights. I was going to wait until I'd gotten LEDs to replace the incandescent bulbs with, but I got antsy. So now there's an OEM set of tail lights up for grabs if anyone wants them...

@witchinghour
Did you just delete the incandescent bulbs? Because if you are running incandescents in there you should wait for the LEDs. Those housings will melt over time trust me.
This weekend I got my shackle and T-bar lift done and put on my 33's and ZR5's.

Not entirely. I deleted them insofar as the parking lamps go, but it's still using incandescent bulbs for the turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lamps. I'm actually looking to order LEDs tonight.
