I had a SRS Code of B0036 on my 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition. I was able to isolate the fault to a faulty driver's side impact sensor. I pulled a sensor from the local U-Pull it junkyard. Installed the sensor and fault is corrected. I did install 1/4-20 threaded inserts for
both sensors and secured the sensors with 1/4-20 Truss head SS screws.
Swapped out the aluminum stock 4x4 diff for a cast iron zr2 diff, and also swapped the rear 4x4 axle for the zr2 axle. Should be buttoned up within the next few days.

Hello, I am new to this forum, but thought it would be useful to some that carry tools or things and just don't like them thrown in the floor or back. I have had tool boxes that just slide around, if not secured, when in the bed of my pickup, or such that extend across the bed rails taking up bed space. But I found that the swing case boxes that attach to the inner sides of the truck bed on a hinge to swing out to the back are useful for space saving and pretty durable for most tools and small item you don't want just laying lose.
So I thought why not in the back of my blazer instead of just a box or thrown back there. I took one from my truck bed and matched it to the inside right prefect. But swing case don't make them for SUVs, necessarily,. I found that the metal frame behind the plastic moldings in the rear of our blazers make suitable places to tap and hold the same way in most truck beds. So I took the frame hinge and latching bar mechanism from a 2017 f250 and matched them at the necessary height and depth to secure the box to swing. No relative mods to the interior of my blazer other than a 2x4 piece for more firming against the side wall. I only turned the rod latching mechanism on the frame bar from horizontal on the wall mount to vertical. Drilled in one self tapping screw in the frame bar to hold secure the latch.
