Not exactly today... but on Wednesday, the Blazer threw an O2 sensor code (sensor 1 - bank 2), so on Thursday I swapped the 2 front sensors to try and see if the problem was in the sensor or the wiring. I also rotated the tires, changed the front sway bar links, and finally replaced the driver's side door hinge bushings. Nice to not hear the rattle and clunk of the misaligned door...

None of the parts stores in my area had the door spring compressor tool, but I took a chance and popped the spring out anyway... Was able to compress it in a vise, wire it down, pop it back in and cut the wires.

Drove it to Syracuse NY and back yesterday (around 460 mi. r/t), then did some local errands today, and the code hasn't come back. Might have been a bad connection... I sprayed the connectors with contact cleaner while it was apart. Fingers crossed...

.

Stared at it and sighed longingly while leaving to go to work.

Started inspecting the frame today... Found my spare tire.

Took that puppy off! I'm glad the mechanism that lowers the tire was like that, I thought it was going to be a soak in PB blaster and beat it with a hammer kind of job...

Put in some more coolant aswell, detailed the trunk, tried to find a leak on my radiator, made a list of things I need to replace. As it stands it's -ball joints, -new tires, and as of today a new spare. / facepalm

Replaced all 4 shocks, filled the transfer case with oil, topped off the rear axle oil, changed the front differential oil, aired up the tired and took out the jackstands, took it for a 10 mile drive, hadnt been on the road in a month. Still need to change the trans filter and pan fluid and fix the oil leak between the cooler lines and engine block adapter.

All of my tuneup goodies came today. Hopefully I'll have some free time tomorrow.
