Do NOT get 8000k. I would recommend 4300K. I currently have 5000K in mine but I'm going to be buying some better HIDs soon and I will be getting 4300K.

I took pics when I first got mine. This is 5000K compared to a Silverstar Bulb (regular, not Ultra)

I'll be getting my next HID's from THIS SITE.

They have 55W HIDs (compared to the 35W in most kits) and they have a lifetime warranty.

what temp are you going to get and what kind of modifying would be involved. Im assuming it wont plug right in and will need a different harness.

I sell HID kits at my shop, if you buy a good kit there should be no modifying what so ever. When you buy a 9006 kit it should be a plug and play kit and that goes for any bulb size for that matter. If the kit you buy is a hard wire kit BEWARE!! It might be a very cheap kit. I paid $110 for my kit from xtralights.com and i used the 8000K kit as far as color temp. goes it just what you like, a white beam 4300K or a blue beam 8000K. Well good luck. But i agree with everyone else HID is the best way to go!!!

what do u think about the mazda ones. They will probably need to be hard wired though. Also i need it to be a 9005 bulb since 9006s wont fit im my housing.
