I may be getting back into the game sooner than I anticipated. I found a great deal on a white ZR2, just like I want. What common problems should I look for when I go to check it out? It's quite a drive for me so I'll probably ask him a bunch of questions about these problems before I even go and see it.

Thanks a lot man. I didn't have any Rockstars around to grab, I'm not sure what a yellow jacket is , and I didn't use the search function because for whatever reason I didn't think there would be a collaborative thread on issues with the truck. Most of the issues seem to be minor, other than ball joints, tie rods, cvs, and wheel bearings. I don't know why people complain about the spark plugs. They're really easy to change if you take the front wheels off and do it from the wheel well, and that's really only for the middle one on the drivers side.

 

It's a compiled list of complainers complaining, BUT it covers a lot of common problems and builds a nice list of what to look for.

BTW: jellow jackets are old trucker pills

 

I guess people who b*tch a lot are good for something...

I think I remember seeing the Yellow Jacket pills at some truck stops...but I'm not 100% sure.
