Ive got a 98 4 door 4x4. That has surface rust on rear hatch. Instead of doing body work thought about just getting a rear hatch tail gate but mine has the glass the lifts up and so does the tailgate. Also has the rear latch on the outside as well as the push button for the glass is keyed. Clear???? LOL What years will I be able to use???? Thanks in advance or is more info needed. Bought this 98 with 95k miles LOVE it front end is rock solid as well as interior. Just needs a LITTLE surface rust on rear hatch and under third eye taken care of

Pretty much any 2nd gen with a liftgate will work. There were slight differences in the interior trim over the years, but you should be able to swap your trim over without issue.
