SLS/SLE are GMC trim levels, the SLS being the base trim level and the SLE being the upper level.

LS is the base trim level for the Chevy brand with LT being the upper level and SS being the top (if you are looking at the newer trucks with the SS package - the S-series suv was never offered in an SS trim). The newer trucks also have the LTZ trim level which is one step up from LT.

They all offer varying degrees of standard and optional equipment and you would really have to look at the sales brochure to know for sure for a given year as things varied year to year when it came to standard and optional equipment available for given trims.

The names of the trim models were dependant upon the model year. For example, 2002 offered 3 Blazers; LS, Xtreme, and ZR2. There were 3 different option packages available under the LS trim. That year LS was the only trim level in the 'standard' Blazer according the the brochure.
