What's a good air pressure
I have 255/35zr20 on my Blazer and I wanted to know how much air pressure is good to drive with. I know what it says on the tire, but that info has misled me before on my wife's car. It ended up being too much and wore the tires excessively in the middle. I got some data later to find I had almost 20 psi too much for the car. So, if I go off the tire, it may be too much for the Blazer. Your thoughts...

IMO the BEST way to determine what the best pressure for any individual tire & vehicle combination, loads, trailering etc.
Inflate the tires to max (read the sidewall)
Find a flat parking lot
Chaulk the tires horizontally & drive forward 10' or so
Check out the chaulk marks - have they worn out on the outside or inside?
Inside = over inflated, outside = under inflated
Let a few PSI out, re-chaulk & drive it again
Repeat until the chaulk wears evenly = THAT'S the optimum pressure for those tires on that vehicle loaded with that weight!

Thanks Rottidog,
Sounds like something from the track, but if that's what works, that's what I'll do.
