General ChatChat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.
I looked up where it's located on my 03 chevy blazer 4.3 and everywhere it's saying it should be it isnt..isn't... the trucks running rough and stalls when I put it in gear. I replaced the starter, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter and put a bunch on new gas in it. I'm not sure where to go from here...
Never mind my previous post. I got it in my head you were looking for the PCV valve. LOL
As George said in his other reply, some of the later 4.3L motors did not have EGR valves.
When I want to check fitment I'll check at a GM parts seller such as GM Parts Giant. This particular one allows you to input the VIN to get the best match posdible.
You might find that your Blazer never had an EGR valve.
Like Christine and George have said, the S-series trucks (Blazer, Jimmy, S10, & Sonoma) all got an engine update in 2002, where the EGR was removed. So if your truck is an '03 like your username implies, then your truck does not have an EGR and your issues are a result of something else.
