Question Winterizing Tips and Suggestions?

I have a pretty clear idea of the basics (but could have overlooked something). Any personal or Blazer specific suggestions to get ready for this winter. Forecast models for my area (central Indiana) show lots of snow and potential ice storms with near average temperatures. Thanks!

I am sure that you thought of a good tune up and fluid change but what about survival tools. Shovel, tow strap, flaires, jack board, air pump, blanket, flashlight, check the battery in the truck, cell phone charger, good spare tire, tire guage and, jack are a few things I can think of.

Make sure your 4x4 is working and the front axle is locking. A good window washer fluid that can withstand lower temperatures is good too, frozen washer fluid is annoying. Now is a good time to look into new wiper blades too, if yours aren't in pretty good shape. The blades can be cleaned with alcohol which will make them work better.

maybe some taction for you ( the ones that fit over your sheos , even my local walmart sells them now, also some gloves(work gloves, it sucks to have cold wet hands when in the snow.......,i keep a spare electric heater, (one the small dash ones) because twice now in two different truck has my blower motor quit aftera huge snow storm..... and its hard to drive home if your windows are to fogged, with out a blower motor it sure stays cold in your truck..........
