Not sure if I would buy them for a roadworthy vehicle just yet.. give it a few years and we'll see. I'd like to see them put a set of mud tweels on a truck and make a vid of that.

I like the idea especially for construction vehicles and military machines. I have a feeling for automotive use however it will be a big problem such that all the other tire and wheel companies won't want this to happen. Similarly to alternative fuel use because gas companies don't want people buying other sources of fuel.

Those are badass and I would buy them. We have wheels like that on our work skidsteer so it doesnt get flats, except they are more like paddlewheels like an aluminum posishing bit... All of our indoor forklifts have something similar too, the wheels on a dock forklift are one peice, the rubber part is moulded onto the wheel and you have to get new wheels which are expensive when doofuses spin tires allover the dock and wear them down.

Those would be excellent for transport trailers and Im sure once the technology is roadworthy our company will be one of the first to put them into service.

I'm very interested to see th compounds they could use. Could they not use a harder compound rubber for the tread now that they can control the "psi" of the wheels. Plus I'm sure you could get them re-treadable or at least make them a two piece. This is gonna get bigger down the road. I can see this idea exploding!

I just powdercoated my rims, so I'm not in the market for a tweel!

Just imagine seeing someone pulled over at the side of the road.
"Do you need a hand? Whats the problem?"
"I blew a tweel!"
