You know you love your blazer when _____?
Yeah this thing nickeled & dimed me to death for 2 years. Bought from a dealer in GA off eBay - BIG mistake. Carfax revealed it was a rental AFTER the deal was done. I was pissed - would have never bought it had I known.
But anyway, after replacing just about every single part on the truck, then having the wife come home from work on a flatbed because the headlights wouldn't work, and having the check engine light come one whenever it was due for inspection, I threw in the towel and parted it out.
The engine now lives on, carbureted, in our '89 Blazer.
Edit to say: I should direct people to my engine swap thread if they need a fix for a P0300 LOL!!

Still have the Jimmy - sitting on blocks out there.
If I feel motivated enough I might try & mount the Jimmy buckets (all power) in the Blazer. The Blazer seat frame has rotted right through on one support leg close to the floor, on the driver's side. Once I finish everything with the Blazer I'll put the Jimmy back on Craigslist for parts. Still a few left anyway.
