Lookin' pretty sweet man!!!!! I plan on getting my 3.42's swapped to 4.56's in about a month. How much did that axle cost you? If you don't mind telling. It takes me forever to speed up with the 3.42's. Already bought the front 4.56 Motive ring and pinion.

Thanks for the compliments!

I like the width in the back, but I think it needs more lift to offset it a little. I know I need new leafs...hopefully this is going to put them a little closer to the top of the list!

The biggest advantage of going up to the 8.6" rear, aside from gearing for now haha...is the locker/LSD options are much greater than the 7.625" and the axle is much tougher. I looked at doing a Powertrax in the 7.625"....but it just seemed like a bad idea. The axle shafts are so small

I got the front and rear axles for $150 from a guy that was parting out for an SFA swap. Couldn't pass em up!

How did you mount your brushguard with the body lift?

That is not true. I work at a Chevy dealer and changed mine very easily. They can go in with a GM TECH II which all GM dealers have to have and change it. Now if the gearing was something besides a factory option then they cant. They can do 3.73s

I put one in mine earlier this year just for the options for more lockers and it should be stronger. I plan on getting an e-locker for mine. Both axles for $150 is a steal. I paid $350 just for the rear end. Plus it needed all new seals.
