ZR2-ed It!
Good to hear.
When I was buying u-joints last there was an option for 4wd "w/sport option" which I can only assume is ZR2. It has a bearing OD of 1.188". CLICK
The ones I bought are for 4wd "exc. sport option" and have a bearing OD of 1.125". CLICK
It looked like the bigger u-joints wouldn't fit in my stock driveshaft or yokes, which is why I asked. The endcaps were significantly larger.

That is interesting... although I don't know i'd say that .063" is a significant difference
Ill crawl under the truck tomorrow and make sure everythings still all good. I havn't had any clunking/noises/whiring/womping etc so I don't anticipate any problem!
Edit: Didn't realize U-Joints were so cheap though..I shoulda swapped those while I was under there! Maybe tomorrow haha

Also, I'm not trying to scare you with your install. Just asking because you were under the truck more recently than I and this is a swap I want to do so I'm trying to glean as much info as possible before purchasing.
BTW, if you find any more $150 steals, let me know. Gas money down there and back plus $150 is still cheaper than anything I can find around here.
Yea... where was this deal in the craigslist/ebay section so we could all drool while you went to buy it? huh huh huh?
The ZR2 axle is 3.9" wider than the stocker...so the wheels would be 2" wider on each side. Look for pics of a blazer with aftermarket rims that are 4" of backspacing and it'll be that same width for you.
Yep, Thanks man!! With as much time as I spent searching, I still can't believe I couldn't find that post. I just hope everything works, cause I doubt he'll drive 2 hours to meet me halfway again if something doesn't work. But, he told me everything worked perfect for him, I just have to fix a brake line on the rear and definitely repaint it. Will the CV from a 2000 zr2 pickup fit our blazers? He couldn't get the driver side cv off, so now I've gotta see if I can get it, unless it'll work.
