When my suspension flexes, even on a tiny incline (in town driving or off-road) the front end makes a loud !POP!. It only does it when the wheel is turned though. . . It sounds like it is coming from my left front wheel well..... what could make this noise happen?

 

Hmm, sway bar bushing, link pins, c/v joints, control arm bushings or ball joints.
Check the link pins at the end of the sway bar first, then check for oil on the sway bar bushings.

 

I don't know if this would help troubleshoot... but I can't seem to get it to make the noise in 4 wheel drive..... only in 2wd.... weird huh?

 

Hmmmm.......gonna have to sleep on that...c/v joint or loose front diff mounting bolts?
