Default RE: Alarm?

Factory alarm systems are activated when you lock the doors. To see if it has one, roll down a window, lock the doors and wait until the security light stops blinking (atleast 5 minutes). Then open the door by unlocking it on the inside and opening it. Your alarm should go off.

Now I haven't tried this process on any of the vehicles in my driveway, but it works on my parents '97 STS.

Default RE: Alarm?

Hey If your truck has a factory installed content theft deterrent system (ALARM) the rpo tag on the inside of your glovebox door will have UA6 as one of the 3 digit codes. If it doesn't have this code, it doesn't have a factory alarm system.
