I have a 2000 LT, 4x4. Recently, my alarm has been going off randomly, most often at 3 AM, so that all my neighbours can hear it. It's the factory alarm, with nothing new added to it. Is there any way that I can disconnect it? I know that I can make changes through my stereo, however I removed the factory radio and put in a pioneer. LikeI said, if I could just disconnect it, that would be great. I'm sure my neighbours would appreciate it.

 

my guess is door triggers are gng bad., you can put a 10K ohm resistor inline the door pin wire and that should solve the problem if that's the cause. LMK if you need direction or wiring info.

 

Thanks for the info. For the time being, is there any way that I can simply disable the alarm? A fuse or something I can do to shut it off?

 

would check your owners manual and see if there is a dedicated suse, but I don't believe so.
