brake light issue
I seem to be having a problem with the brake lights. Only the third brake light goes on when I hit the brakes. Both tailights go on when I turn the lights on and both turn signals go on when I turn them on. I'm not sure if the bulbsa in the light are multifilamant(sp?) bulbs or not so I guess it is possible that the filament broke on the brake light but not the tail light. Any insight is appreciated.
This is typically a problem with the multifunction switch, but if the parking lights work and the turn signals work, it's hard to say what the problem may actually be. I would remove the tail light housings and inspect the bulb sockets. The sockets themselves can be disassembled and cleaned up if there is corrosion inside.
I'm really thinking this is the start of a problematic multifunction switch though, and they aren't cheap! Good luck and keep us posted.

yup it was the multifunction but it wasn't busted it was my fault I just didn't realize it. I broke the hazard light switch off when I was taking the dash off to put a cd player in. The horn and the hazards were stuck on so I jammed a toothpick in the remains of the switch. The horn wasnt on and the turn signals worked, I just didn't realize I didn't have brake lights. Replazed the hazard switch and she works like new. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
