How do you reset the CEL?
Does disco'n battery work?
Also can you do a a on-off-on-off-on-off-on with the key and count the flashes of CEL light to determine code? Or do I go to vatozone?

Thx, it came on last night and I already believe it just needs tune up, its at 110k and original plug wires, cap and rotor.
So I will be doing tune-up in morning.

Well... I had to take a look back in your posts to figure out what you had for a truck. Please put your vehicle information in your signature (via your profile) and attach your signature to all of you posts (also in your profile for that option). Thanks.

Since you have a '99, your only option is to get the codes scanned. Pretty much any autoparts store is scanning for codes now. Just inquire at the counter and they should help you out. If they come up with codes that they cannot decipher, just post them up here and we'll get the descriptions for you as soon as we can!
