Colant problem
Here I go again.
Alight now I have dark black paste stuff in my colant system. Don't know where it is coming from but I just flushed my system because of it. When the water was coming out of the system it was pretty clear with no trace of the stuff that I was trying to flush. I installed the Prestone flush and fill kit and it worked like a charm. Well, now again the black paste stuff is back. I checked the oil to see if there was water in that but no trace so I don't think that it is my head gasket. The vehicle runs fine I drive close to 50 miles a day and I don't notice any problems. Anyone know what it could be.
The black paste stuff (looks like grease) shows up on the prestone cap and my radiator has a gray substance in it. The gray stuff floats and when I use a dip stick on it only shows up on the top of the water. Also the resivore doesn't have any trace of the stuff. I think that it is clogged but I have not checked yet.
Any ideas.

If you're positive that it's not a head gasket leak, then I would suggest that it's probably an leaking intake gasket.

Could also be a coolant line inside the tank has cracked. If that the case then new rad instore for you...if you need new rad then here is link to show you a better than stock one:

How do I find out if it a head gasket? I checked the oil and didn't find any water and I don't seem to have any problems when I am getting around.
