Default Front Diff

WHERE on EARTH is the drain for the front diferential on a 95 4wd... I can find one plug but not the other and I don't see anything on the bottom of it....:/

Some diferentials do not have drain plugs and you must remove the cover. Some are on the bottom. I have both kinds, the upside on having to remove the cover is that you can inspect the condition.

Mine doesn't have a cover... it's a split case... and when you say "cover" are you talkin' about a cover like what's on the rear??

Rich the drain plug is on the left side below the left front axle, should be a 13mm hex head with a plastic gasket. the fill plug is on the right side of the case half about half way up in front of the right axle extension housing and should be a 15mm hex head with a plastic gasket. It takes 80W90 gear oil and 2 quarts will be more than enough.

I'll be under there bleedin' brakes today so. I got a rear diff gasket and gonna replace that too. and I'm gonna do the xfer case...:P
I don't use the dextron **** right? It specs for ATF in the xfer case.
