I am having a problem with my front wiper motor on a 1998 blazer. There seems to be short in the wiring harness. I have to wedge cardboard in between to keep them working. Any suggestions?

guessing what you are saying is that they don't move, or one moves, the arm bolts to the wiper motor . Take off the plaztic cover on wiper arm by the cowl and loosen the nut up and then tighten it back down. that woked on my blazer

I figured out my problem with the wipers by going through more of the posts. It happened to be bad solder connections on the circuit board of th wiper motor. They were like cold solder joints. Just resoldered them and now it works great.
