Default headlights

Hi There ! I hope someone can help me! My 96 blazer has the most annoying problem. My headlights flicker. It only happens when the lo-beams are on. Not when the hi-beams are on or when only the daytime lamps are on. It also goes clickety clickety in the relay box inside the glove box. The lights don't go completely out, but it's almost like a strobe light effect and it's constant when the lo's are on. Another problem is that my lights are not very bright. We've replaced the switch but still have the problems.
The flickering is even worse with the turn signal on.

Check for bad ground wire in the wire harness or check the relay switch it might be weakened from age and not able to stay connected. The relay depends on electromagnetic coils and if the coil is weak then the connection becomes weak...

Ok, checked relay that was clicking with known good relays and all reacted the same in that spot. Checked bulbs and connections. All ok. Has anyone had any similar problems that replacing the multi-function switch fixed? Don't want to spend hours sorting through wiring to get to something simple. Any kind of input would be helpful and appreciated.
