I gave up on the choke and put in a coke cabel, it's more choke than I had but still not right.I would still like to do a better carb. Any ideas what would work?

 

not sure what the problem is , could you explain a little more detail i might be able to help.

 

On the choke cabel I added, I used the stock linkage I need more leverage. ie. a longer arm on the choke shaft. I just dont want to pull the carb off to braze somthing on it. what I realey want is a better Carb.

what kinda carb do you have on their now?

 

the Stock one, no sencers, 2bl.

 

yeah a different carb might be a good idea. i would stick to an emissions legal one though

 

the Holley 4412 is a nice 2bbl carb.
