im a traitor..firebird/transam
you know talk to me about the history of a blazer or something, i've done my research, i've taken auto class for the longest time, but i had a fine *** girl who i put alot of my attention into instead of paying attention to what little i should have been an on top of that my teacher was an idiot, i had to fix my motor motors twice back when i had an old blazer just due to him being stupid, but i know im wrong for this but i found a 84 trans am/firebird that has 116,000 miles on the original motor for 400 dollars..i mean its beat to hell but if you crank it up its an instant smile..needs exhast but that's about it, but i pulled the dipstick out an its a milky white color, i gotta assume that's bad but could changing the oil make it better or run right? any ideas what's so ever would be greatly appreciated its my friends dads car an he just put heads on it an its been sitting for awhile..

Milky oil is usually an indicator of a blown head gasket. But hell, for $400 that's still a deal.

and could be the reason its been sitting for a few months. Milky white is an indication that you have coolant in your oil, blown head gasket, or cracked block. Pray for a blown head gasket, however if he just had them replaced, your looking at a cracked block. You won't get $400 for the car at the scrap yard, and you'll be buying a new engine for it. That $400 deal doesn't sound like a deal to me. I would pass on it.
