Default knock sensor

How big a deal is a knock sensor to replace. Just had a new tranny put in and PCM replaced...which coincidently fixed my 4wd problem but threw a new code for the knock sensor as soon as i got it back.

Default RE: knock sensor

My AllDataDIY.com account states removal of the Distributor and Oil Pressure sending unit before removing the Knock Sensor. I don't think that this is necessary, but the knock sensor is located behind the drivers side cylinder head, right under the oil pressure sending unit.

there are 2 knock sensors, on 4.3w one on left bank, in between 2 plugs and one on right bank, behind right head.
