Default rear defroster

One of the spiral wires that hook to the rear window to heat the defroster has come off. What do I use to get it to stick back on yet let the defroster work?????

Did the whole spade terminal break loose from the glass? If so, then you may have to solder it back on to make contact again...

No, you will have to bond it using an epoxy (after roughing up the glass with some sand paper in that area), then solder the joints that lead to the heating elements.

I'll have a look at mine to see how it may be done other than what is listed.

I had this same problem, the dealership said it had to actually soldered and gave me the instructions and part numbers. However all I needed was the solder past kit, just don't sand too hard. Here is a link to a good suplier for the material you need Frost Fighter
