Rear window squeak fixed!

I want to thank Dory for suggesting WD-40 on the rear window latch, which is in the top of the tailgate, to fix that annoying rear squeak! It sounded like a bunch of chattering squirrels, and I have put up with it for the year that I've had my Blazer, and the previous owner put up with it before me. I could alleviate it by driving with the window popped open, but I thought to fix it I'd need to replace the weatherstripping, since lubricating it hadn't helped. Well, I squirted the WD-40 in the scummy-looking latch 2 or 3 days ago and haven't heard a peep since! Even though it still looks cruddy in there, it really did the trick, and I am totally amazed! So I thought anyone who missed that would like to know.

Mind you, someone needs to think of using it.

Well, I hope the WD 40 works as well for you as it did for me. Let us know.
