Default Roll Pan

Has anyone installed a custon roll pan on their blazer. I installed mine and it looks nice! But the problem is that it seems frail. I took off the old bumper and everything, found out that I had to cut some of the frame off to attatch the pan. risky. The pan is plastic with the two rear fenders for the side. There are not bolt attatchments on the pan, but on the fenders only. I drilled the fenders to bolt on the pan, and attatched the whole thing. So, the only things that are acutally bolted to the frame is the side fenders, the rear is just connected to the fenders and nothing else. I know its plastic and light, but i was thinking to weld some Y braces to hold the rear pan on more sturdy. Anyone put on custom pans have any suggestions? Or should I leave it??
